Last weekend we found a gorgious feline friend that we just had to rescue from the Sherwood Cat Adoption team. Her name is "Beta." Her name was inspired by the up and coming "beta" test phase for my Senior Project, The Puzzler - 3D Style.

Check it out, more pictures available at this location.

I don't know if Matt will blog on this, but Beta died on Friday, March 11,2005 around 3:00 that morning. It was quite a night. :( I got home from work that night (Matt was in class) and she was glaring at me when I tried to pick her up. Throughout the night, she was wheezing and getting her limper. It was pretty scary. Beta will be missed, but I'm glad we had her for those few months.

We adopted Beta from the Cat Adption Team Organization in Tualatin, OR where Beta had lived for the first six months of her life among other Kitties that alighments common to cats that live in large numbers. We found and treated her upper respratory illness in time. About three months after that she contracted another illness, we're not sure yet what the cause was yet but she most certainly was not eating anything, and passed away with in 72 hours while I was away at class liked Jill meantioned during the week.
We miss her very much.
Thats all I have to say, thanks.

After Beta's death and the passing of several other relatives in our families, our faith walk with Jesus Christ and the One True Living God Most High has grown many times over. We have learned through hard lessons that death is very much a part of life as its natural conclusion, just the same as birth is very much a part of life as its natural beginning. Although sad when we die, we celebrate our rebirth and continuing walk with Jesus in life everlasting as we dwell in the house of the Lord. This is God's promise told to us by his word and of his word, directly from the Holy Bible, in the Gospel according to John...
